Manufacturer - Ken Bowes & Co Ltd (KBC), a South Australian based manufacturing company established in 1936. KBC made its first domestic bean slicer in 1938 and by 1949 had produced 300,000.
Manufactured Year - around 1940
Description - This table mounted iron bean slicer with turn handle and 3 rotating cutting blades It has been repainted in a powder blue enamel. It is made from iron with a wood knob on the handle which has been painted black. It has "KBC" imprinted on the front which has been painted in red enamel paint.
Condition - It is in very good working condition. Due to being repainted though it is no longer in its original condition (I did not repaint it), Has some small chips to the enamel and some wear to the paint on the wood knob, but overall in very good working vintage condition .
Measures 22 cm long x 10 cm wide x 11 cm depth
