Vintage Brass inlayed Wood plaque of Jane Dirkin
Jane Dirkin 1626 Brass Plaque
This plaque was sold in the 1970's to aid the St Peter's Church fund in Kent, South Australia. The original of it hang in the same church at time these were sold (Unsure if it is still there) It shows Jane Dirkin AD1826 in typical Jacobean costume of the time. The information on the back goes on to describe her clothes and life in detail
The brass sheet is adhered to a teak board with beveled edges.
Measures 21 cm high x 8.5 cm wide x 1 cm thick
Condition Light scratches on the brass sheet. The paper on the back has yellowed due to age. Overall though it still looks good with none of the above mentioned standing out and is in good vintage condition for age
