Biography of Sir Henry Simpson Newland (1873-1969) by J Estcourt Hughes, MS Estcourt Hughes, MS Adelaide, F.R.A.C.S. published by The South Australian Fellows of The Royal Australian College of Surgeons 1972;  Sir Henry Simpson Newland was a great surgeon, great teacher of surgeons.
